Empowering Futures Through Print

The Reentry Program is a transformative initiative designed to equip returning citizens with valuable skill trades in the printing industry, fostering personal and professional growth while promoting successful reintegration into the community.

Hosted within Urban Graphix, a full-service printshop established by the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation (DHDC), the program provides hands-on training in cutting-edge printing techniques such as screen printing, sublimation, direct-to-garment production, and wide-format printing. Participants gain expertise in producing high-quality marketing materials and merchandise, including banners, T-shirts, brochures, and more, while developing skills in customer service, inventory management, and production processes.

Through mentorship, practical experience, and soft skills training, the program empowers individuals to build confidence, resilience, and job readiness. Graduates emerge equipped with industry-relevant skills and the foundation for a sustainable career, contributing to their personal success and the vitality of their communities.

The Reentry Program is more than a workforce development initiative; it is a second chance to rebuild lives, break cycles of recidivism, and create a pathway to a brighter future.
